Apple has sent out media invites for the company’s annual developers event — WWDC 2019. The event will kick off on June 3 and will continue until June 7 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. On June 3 the WWDC 2019 will kick off at 10:00 a.m. PT, which is 10:30 PM India time. The star of WWDC 2019 will be iOS 13. At the event, Apple will officially announce the next iOS version aka iOS 13. Like every year Apple will talk about the features that come along iOS 13. The Cupertino major will also talk about the beta release timeline for early testers.
Ahead of the official announcement of the iOS 13 a lot has already been talked about Apple’s next software version. Rumors and leaks suggest that the iOS 13 will come with a native dark mode similar to what we have also seen on Google’s newly announced Android 10 or Android Q. iOS 13 — as always — is expected to be officially available at this fall when the Cupertino major will announce new iPhones. This year too, Apple is expected to launch three iPhones — iPhone XI, iPhone XI Max, and successor to the iPhone XR.
Additionally, iOS 13 is also expected to come packed with several interesting features like — standardised undo gesture, Siri improvements, take holiday from alarm, snoozing notifications, improved emoji search, new Messages features, Smart Wi-Fi, swipe keyboard, slide to unlock, among other things.
In addition to iOS 13, Apple may also announce the new versions of its other operating systems including watchOS that is expected to come with on-watch App Store, tvOS, and macOS. Rumors also suggest that the at WWDC 2019 Apple will have some announcements related to Apple Card, TV+ and Apple Arcade.
To recall, at last year’s WWDC Apple had some hardware announcements too. As of now, there are no specific details on whether or not Apple will have any hardware announcements this year.
